Worldwide Satellite Systems Program (WWSS)
|
Globecomm is one of six contractors selected to participate in the U.S. Army's
$5 billion Worldwide Satellite Systems Program (WWSS). The Defense
Communications and Army Transmission Systems and the Warfighter Information
Network-Tactical Program jointly manage the WWSS out of offices located in Ft.
Monmouth, NJ.
Under the five-year, IDIQ (indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity) contract,

| Globecomm will bring government agencies turnkey commercial
satellite systems and associated support services for satellite terminals,
including all hardware, software, field support services and technical
information.

Explorer Mobile Satellite Terminals.
Explorer terminals with integrated electronics (L through Ku-band and all
intermediate frequencies) are suited for a wide range of military applications
and are available in sizes ranging from sub-meter up to 3 meters. Depending on
your requirements, they can be configured as flyaways (either auto-aligning or
manual) or as trailer or vehicle-mounted transportables.

nodes, maximize uptime and protect the quality of service on networks including
network monitoring, help desk and field installation and maintenance.
