GSI
and Agility provide onsite disaster recovery services in wake of Florida
hurricanes
Globecomm Systems recently provided satellite connectivity and call center
restoral services to Agility Recovery Solutions to support recovery efforts
resulting from the recent hurricanes in Florida.
Within 48 hours, GSI and Agility
provided a complete portable communications facility with satellite
connectivity back to GSI's Long Island International Teleport. This network was
used to support 50 telephone lines and 1.5Mbs of Internet connectivity.
Globecomm and Agility have supported several clients in the region, in the wake
of hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne.
Globecomm and Agility partner to
provide products and services that deliver immediate onsite, client-centric
business recovery solutions featuring robust data and telephone communications
